Performed installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Blowout Preventor (BOP) control units (Koomey units) and Diesel Test Units on land drilling rigs. Supported rig crews during rig-up/rig-down, Pre-Spud checks,BOP Test Using Test Units, Troubleshooting, and Emergency drills to minimize NPT and improve operational safety. Assisted in verifying integration between BOP controls, choke manifold, mud circulation system, and top drive operations to ensure safe and coordinated well control readiness. rig-floor exposure with a strong understanding of top drive operations, including torque control, rotation modes, automatic drilling features, and emergency stop interlocks. Developed practical knowledge of mud pump systems, Mud Tanks, Shale Shakers and demonstrated working knowledge of the choke manifold system, including choke and Tip line functionality, manual and hydraulic choke operation, pressure control, flow direction management, and choke changes during well control scenarios.
