Supervise the drill crew and runs the entire drilling operations activities to achieve the requirements of the operator’s Drilling Work-Over program using equipment and manpower. Report drilling progress, well conditions, safety incidents, and any deviations from drilling plans to Toolpusher, OIM and Client representative onboard and other relevant parties. Maintain accurate records including drilling reports, equipment logs, safety records, tubular run in the hole including pipe tally, full BHA/completion components and critical fishing dimensions and drilling parameters. Monitor for any down hole irregularities such as kicks, pressure fluctuations, and abnormal torque. Take immediate action to secure the well in the event of a well control incident and promptly inform the Toolpusher and client representative.
