As a seasoned Floorman with over 5 years on drilling rigs, I excel in trip-in/trip-out operations, ensuring efficient and safe pipe handling during connections and withdrawals. I am fully competent in running casing, carefully guiding joints into the wellbore while monitoring weight indicators and torque to prevent damage or stuck pipe incidents. On the rig floor, I maintain mud pumps, shakers, and associated equipment, performing daily inspections, changing liners, valves, and pulsation dampeners as needed to keep circulation systems running smoothly. I strictly follow the driller’s instructions, whether making connections, handling BOP tests, or assisting with wellhead installations and pressure testing. Safety is my top priority. I actively participate in JSA reviews, ensure proper PPE usage, maintain clear communication via hand signals and radio, and stay vigilant for hazards such as pinch points, slipping risks, and H2S exposure.
