Responsibilities - Main duties to carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on all rig equipment including diesel engine generators/cranes/air compressors/hydraulic systems/ mud pumps / drawworks and top drives. - Operate various types of drilling rigs and related equipment. - Follow safety protocols and procedures while working on drilling rigs. - Train other personnel on the proper use and maintenance of drilling rigs. - Ensure that all reporting routines are followed and that all equipment related paperwork is carried out within my area of responsibility, such as maintenance records, updating of service and instruction manuals, - I am following and keeping the stock of spare parts and consumables at the appropriate level by verifying the stock levels and superiors the deficiencies taking in consideration future maintenance requirements. - before any maintenance activity is started, precautions have been taken and signed work permit.

OTHER SKILLS - Lathe machine operator - Also familiar with industrial drawing - Arc and gas welding - very good knowledge of spare parts and written order.
