Assisting in operating and monitoring various drilling equipment, including draw works, mud pumps, the rotary table, and the top drive. Supervising the crew during the running and retrieving of tubulars and casing strings (tripping pipe). Assisting with well control procedures, including monitoring fluid levels and ensuring proper functioning of blowout preventers (BOPs). Overseeing activities on the rig floor to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and according to the drilling program.  Performing and supervising the lubrication, maintenance, and basic repairs of drilling and associated equipment (e.g., valves, pumps, flow lines). Assisting in the planning and execution of rig-up and rig-down operations for rig moves.  Enforcing safety protocols, participating in safety meetings and drills, and ensuring all crew members adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies. Evaluating work to be performed according to the permit-to-work system and initiating permits as necessary.
