Derrick man at Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC) in Egypt, (June, 2021– May, 2022) Responsible for the following: • Assisting the Drillers in carrying out the day-to-day operation on the rig. • Maintaining Mud Pumps and other drilling equipment. • Recording tally sheet for tubular / casings, Carries out TBT. • Implement safety of the crew working under him, maintenance of the Mud system. Floor man at Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC) in Egypt, (April, 2020– June, 2021) Responsible for the following: • Safely and efficiently all duties assigned by the Driller during work over and completion. • Ensure the drill floor is kept clean and that all equipment is in its proper place. - Attend and participate in per-tour, post tour, special operation and weekly safety meetings. • During tripping operations work assigned duties: - Pull and set slips. • Assist at rig up and rig down while move. • Assist with maintenance and repair of work equipment, tools and rig structures as directed. • Assist with mixing of mud and chemical. • Contribute to the effective execution of mechanical lifting. • Visually inspect the drill string so as to report wash outs, excessive wear, and joint or thread damage.
