As a Trainee Engineer with hands-on exposure to upstream oilfield operations, I actively supported Coiled Tubing, Wireline, and Slickline intervention activities under the supervision of senior operators and field engineers. My responsibilities included preparing and organizing Coiled Tubing equipment such as the CT Reel, Injector Head, CT BOP, Stripper Packer, and pressure control assemblies. I participated in critical rig-up and rig-down procedures for Coiled Tubing and well intervention operations, ensuring all equipment was safely installed, properly aligned, and secured according to operational requirements and industry standards. I assisted in performing well intervention tasks including tool deployment, fishing/pulling jobs, gauge retrieval, and supporting downhole mechanical intervention operations. I gained practical knowledge in handling pressure control equipment such as BOPs, Wireline BOPs, wellheads, choke manifolds, and flowback iron. I routinely inspected equipment, ensured proper lubrication, verified function tests, and maintained operational readiness. Part of my responsibility included conducting safety checks, participating in toolbox talks, supporting permit-to-work procedures, and complying with HSE guidelines. I ensured that all operations were performed with a strong focus on safety, hazard awareness, and risk mitigation. Additionally, I helped maintain field documentation, equipment logs, and operational checklists. Working in a fast-paced, high-risk environment enhanced my adaptability, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence.
