As a Coiled Tubing Operator, I am responsible for operating and supporting all aspects of coiled tubing interventions in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. My role includes performing rig-up and rig-down of all coiled tubing equipment such as the injector head, reel unit, power pack, control cabin, and the surface pressure control equipment. I ensure that all equipment is properly inspected, function-tested, and operated according to company standards and client requirements. I am responsible for preparing the coiled tubing unit before the job, verifying pressures, fluid systems, BHA components, and ensuring that all operational tools and downhole equipment are correctly assembled and ready for deployment. During operations, I monitor surface parameters—including pump pressure, depth, weight on bit, speed, and tubing integrity—to ensure safe and smooth interventions. I communicate continuously with the supervisor and the crew to respond quickly to any changes in well conditions or operational risks. Safety is a key responsibility in this position. I follow all HSE policies, participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and ensure proper use of PPE. I also contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized worksite. Additionally, I assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on coiled tubing equipment, injector chains, hydraulics, and auxiliary units to minimize downtime. Documentation is another essential part of my role. I complete daily operational reports, checklists, and incident records, while ensuring accurate data collection during the job. I work in close coordination with supervisors, pump operators, crane operators, and client representatives to deliver efficient, safe, and high-quality coiled tubing services.
