As a Coiled Tubing Supervisor, I am responsible for providing direct leadership, technical guidance, and safe execution of all coiled tubing operations at the wellsite. My role starts with proper job planning, reviewing the well program, and confirming that all operational procedures, equipment specifications, and safety requirements are fully understood before work begins. I ensure effective coordination with the company representative, service partners, and my CT crew to guarantee smooth operations. I lead all safety processes, including conducting toolbox talks, facilitating Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and ensuring strict compliance with company and industry HSE policies. One of my key responsibilities is verifying that all coiled tubing equipment—such as injector head, control cabin, BOP stack, reel, power pack, pumps, and pressure-control equipment—is correctly rigged up, function tested, pressure tested, and certified fit for use. During operations, I closely monitor real-time parameters such as pump rates, tubing forces, well pressure, fluid properties, and surface equipment responses. I provide continuous supervision to ensure crews follow the approved procedures while also troubleshooting any operational challenges or equipment malfunctions that may arise. I maintain clear and timely communication with the company man, updating him on progress, risks, and operational decisions to prevent downtime or unsafe conditions. I also manage crew performance, ensuring every team member understands their tasks, applies safe working practices, and maintains a clean and organized worksite. At the end of each shift and job, I prepare accurate operational reports, safety observations, equipment usage summaries, and post-job evaluations. My overall responsibility is to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality coiled tubing operations while protecting personnel, equipment, and well integrity.
