Senior Rig Electrician Working on 3000 HP NOV Amphion Onshore Drilling Rig in Kuwait operation leading the team with 3 Assistant Electricians and 2 Instrumentation Engineer. • Ensure safe operation and compliance with relevant standards by installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment on Drilling rigs. • Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs on a variety of electrical systems, equipment. • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment to guarantee its efficient operation and minimize downtime. • Perform electrical testing and commissioning of equipment and systems. • Root cause analysis of breakdowns, trips & equipment failure • Compilation of equipment master data & PM Plans of all Electrical Equipment’s to be uploaded in SAP MM & PM Module • Provide guidance and technical support to junior electrical staff and other departments when required • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while working in the onshore environment • Provide technical support for electrical systems to ensure achievement of rig efficiency and client objectives. • Provide specific focus on systems that will keep maintenance operations running effectively and avoid down time • Maintain electrical spare parts inventory and document work performed on machinery.
