A Rig Floor Floorman works on the rig floor, assisting in drilling operations, handling drill pipe and equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient rig operations under the supervision of the Driller and Toolpusher. Assist in making up and breaking out drill pipe, drill collars, and BHA connections Handle tongs, slips, elevators, and spinner tools Guide and stab pipe during tripping operations Monitor pipe movement and report abnormalities Assist during tripping in/out, reaming, and circulation Perform routine maintenance on rig floor equipment • Clean and paint equipment as required • Report defective tools or unsafe conditions immediately • Assist maintenance crews when needed Follow all HSE policies and procedures • Wear required PPE at all times • Stop work if unsafe conditions are identified (Stop Work Authority) • Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and toolbox talks
