Roles and Responsibilities
As a Steward onboard offshore vessels, I am responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort within all accommodation and common areas to ensure a safe and pleasant living environment for crew members. This includes daily housekeeping duties such as cleaning cabins, mess rooms, corridors, offices, and sanitary facilities in compliance with company procedures and maritime hygiene standards. I provide efficient meal and beverage service according to scheduled meal times while ensuring proper food handling practices are followed at all times. In addition, I actively support galley operations by assisting with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness. I manage laundry services for crew and officers, ensuring proper sorting, washing, drying, and folding of garments while maintaining care standards. I consistently comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, food safety regulations, and emergency procedures to promote a safe working environment onboard.
