I have worked offshore as a Roustabout and Rigger, supporting marine and deck operations on offshore projects under the supervision of deck officers and supervisors. My responsibilities included assisting with day-to-day deck activities, preparing work areas, and ensuring that operations were carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with company and international safety standards. I was actively involved in rigging and lifting operations, including slinging and guiding loads, selecting and inspecting lifting gear such as shackles, slings, wire ropes, and chains, and supporting crane operations as a rigger or banksman when required. I assisted with cargo handling, equipment transfer, and proper securing of loads on deck and work sites. My duties also included general maintenance tasks such as chipping, painting, cleaning, greasing, and maintaining good housekeeping on deck and work areas. I regularly participated in toolbox talks, safety meetings, drills, and permit-to-work systems, ensuring full compliance with HSE requirements. Working in a multicultural offshore environment, I followed instructions from supervisors, cooperated with deck crews, and supported vessel or installation operations as assigned. Through this experience, I developed strong discipline, situational awareness, and a solid understanding of deck-related duties that are directly transferable to an Able Seafarer (AB) role.

STCW Basic Safety, BOSIET, H2S, Rigging & Slinging certified. Valid Seaman’s Book and medicals. Skilled in offshore rigging, cargo handling, crane assistance, deck support, HSE compliance, and teamwork in multicultural environments.
