A professional and experienced Crane Operator with over 18 years experience working offshore in the Oil and Gas industry onboard Jack up, Semi Submersible and Platforms. I have experience working in the UK, Norway, Namibia, Ghana and Canada. I have experience with Permit to Work systems and preparing Task Risk Assessments. During my time as Crane Operator I have been responsible for supervising members of the deck crew, supervising various work scopes such as general lifting around the rig and also carrying out supply vessel cargo transfer operations. I also operator and maintain Cranes in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines. In my role as Crane Operator this was also acting as the Deck Foreman/supervisor ad carrying out tasks such as managing crew work load and task allocation, handle cargo manifests to ensure cargo operations were carried out correctly and efficiently.
