construction/mechanical completion/pre commissioning/of pipeline system & static/rotating equipment’s, welding of the pipe/tank joints, sandblasting/painting of the pipe/tank joints, coating & insulation of the pipe/pipeline/tank, pipeline/tank flushing/hydro testing/cleaning and inspection of all kinds of static equipment’s. Carry out troubleshooting and repair work. Clearance of the punch list items. . To monitor, review and where required, approve the mechanical construction/pre commissioning activities of the EPC Contractors to ensure that all mechanical/piping/pipeline construction/pre commissioning activities are carried out safely and fully in accordance with Company's HSE and technical requirements(standards & specification). Ensure that appropriate safety procedures are implemented during the execution of the different work, which will include the review of method statements as well as witnessing at site.(construction, pre commissioning, commissioning works) Ensure that the contractors/partners adhere to the Contract specifications and that any deviations are reviewed and approved by appropriate authority. · Liaise with the project Mechanical Engineer/pre Commissioning teams on technical issues as and when required. . Ensure that all materials used by the contractors are in accordance with the standarts & specifications. · Monitor Mechanical/Piping/pipeline activities and ensure adequate Contractor resources to ensure optimum progress of the work in the all mentioned discipline. . Work closely with the QA/QC Engineer to ensure the implementation of the Project QA/QC Plan. · Control all critical quality activities including mechanical completion/pre commissioning/commissioning stages. . Liaise with the other discipline Construction/Commissioning Supervisors on a continuous basis to ensure smooth execution of the construction/commissioning activities. . Ensure that all construction and mechanical completion/pre comm/commissioning activities are suitably documented to provide a smooth handover to the Site Commissioning Team. . Liaise closely with the Site Commissioning Team to ensure that any mechanical/piping rectification required during the mechanical completion/pre comm and commissioning phases is promptly attended to. . Monitor as-built drawing preparation by the contractors to ensure that these are accurate and produced on time. . Report progress on the activities, versus the contractor's programmers, and advise of any potential slippages to the Head of Construction. . Review and comment on the contractors planning related to construction/mechanical completion activities.
