• Responsible for supporting fleet wide jack up rigs. • Visible leadership by spending time in the field and monitoring daily operations. • Required logbooks are maintained and updated as per requirements. • Pre work assessment/ implementation. • That technical related certification at all times is valid and available on board • Daily detailed planning is conducted for all upcoming operations. • Review/ Implement maintenance programs. Review critical and operational spares stock plan Liaison with various departments during planned major overhaul of fleet wide jack up rigs. • That any operations do not exceed the limitations of the unit or its equipment. • . Thorough handovers are provided at each daily change of shift. • Implementation of pre-work Assessments by clients to meet contractual requirements. • with all involved parties good and clear communications • Compliance with applicable internal and external governing requirements. • That all relevant personnel are adequately trained in handling emergencies. • Participated in the Safety Meetings on every weekend about the permit work system, emergency safety • Non-compliances are promptly acted on and reported to the direct supervisor. • That all emergency equipment is in good condition and configured as required • Update all daily records in rig maintenance program. Supervise Mechanics and Motormen and attend pre tour meetings. • Training and competence assessments as assigned and/or required are performed. • Works, mud pump, kill and chock manifold, hydra tong, iron roughneck, main power generator engines, cranes, centrifugal pumps, BOP hoists, etc.
