Responsible for accurate record-keeping, inventory control, and effective material management to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Manage receiving, inspection, documentation, storage, and issuing of materials in compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, physical stock verification, and system reconciliation using ERP/WMS platforms such as SAP and Oracle. Coordinate closely with procurement, project, logistics, and production teams to plan material requirements, prevent shortages, and minimize excess stock. Oversee loading, unloading, material transfers, and dispatch activities while ensuring proper handling, labeling, and traceability of materials. Monitor stock levels, shelf life, and storage conditions to ensure material quality and compliance with HSE requirements. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse performance reports to management, highlighting discrepancies, slow-moving items, and improvement opportunities. Conduct regular warehouse audits, enforce housekeeping standards, and ensure materials are stored safely and securely. Supervise warehouse staff, provide training on material handling procedures, and promote teamwork to achieve productivity targets. Liaise with suppliers and transporters to ensure timely delivery, proper documentation, and efficient return or replacement of damaged materials.
