Key Experience and Skills: Marine Engineering. Dynamic Positioning. Maintenance, Dry Dock Repair & Sea Trials. Offshore Operations. Audits, acceptance of a ship from a shipyard. Can read and interpret engineering drawings. Twenty-five years of experience at sea as Marine Engineer, seventeen of them in Offshore industry. 11700 DP hours (logged DP experience) as Marine Chief Engineer on DP Class 2 SAT Diving/ROV Vessels & More than 11000 DP hours (logged DP experience) as Marine Senior DP Engineer on DP Class 2&3 Vessels. Good knowledge Power Management System (PMS), Integrated Automation System (IAS) and other relevant systems. Strong experience with mechanical (pneumatic and hydraulic systems) and electrical systems and equipment. Diesel-Electric Propulsion system, Redundancy system/Split mode; ASD & CPP; different type and brands of the thrusters: Brunvoll, Schottel, Kawasaki, Wartsila.
