Role • To operate cranes safely and efficiently for lifting, moving, and positioning loads at site (onshore/offshore). Responsibilities • Operate crane as per load chart and manufacturer guidelines • Perform daily pre-operation inspection of crane, wire ropes, hooks, brakes, and safety devices • Follow signals from the signalman/rigger and maintain clear communication • Ensure safe lifting operations and avoid overloading • Monitor weather conditions, wind speed, and stop operations when unsafe • Maintain crane logbook and record daily activities • Identify mechanical or hydraulic issues and report immediately • Follow all safety rules, company procedures, and PPE requirements • Ensure proper positioning and stability of the crane before lifting • Assist in basic maintenance and keep the crane clean and operational
