Perform safe working practice all the time avoid hoisting over people, live pipelines, critical equipment such ROVs,drilling bits and any hazardous areas or obstacle.maintain good visibility and communication between banksman especially on blind spot area.maintain good house keeping surrounding the crane and cabin.ensure all systems are functioning properly, load chart, wind speed indicator,oil pressure gauge, emergency stop and emergency lowering system must be fully Performing daily, weekly and monthly inspection as per crane manufacturer.Liase with chief or 2nd engineer and electrcian for any required maintenance, record and report any defects or malfunction, damage or wear on the wire or sheave, damage on the structures.always conduct and attend toolbox talk for lifting permit open/close, safety& hazard analysis also follow sites or client rules and regulations.ensure all crane certificate are valid and not due.verifying all the riggings equipment are valid tagged and safe to use before lifting operation.
