Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with ISM Code and company HSSQE (Health, Safety, Security, Quality & Environment) Policy. Support vessel crew in daily administration and provide training when needed. Monitor all maritime activities for compliance with international, national, and client regulations. Handle QHSSE formalities for vessels (projects, sites, or at anchor). Organize and assist with emergency ISM drills and reporting. Inspect vessels for audits (internal/external) and initiate corrective/preventive actions. Implement and standardize QHSSE procedures and ensure proper follow-up. Ensure crew are trained and aware of QHSSE risks and preventive measures. Implement and follow up the Permit To Work system onboard. Verify preventive maintenance schedules are followed. Motivate crew to improve QHSSE performance within dynamic risk management. Advise crew on deficiencies in health, safety, and environmental protection. Report findings and recommendations to relevant persons (e.g., shore captain, technical department). Maintain weekly reports documenting recommendations, deficiencies, and drills performed.
