• Worked on developing sheet metal brackets and routing solutions in truck center area • Participated in design reviews and handled Design Change Notices (DCNs) • Developed mounting concepts and packaging solutions for BEV and ICE truck chassis systems • Performed diversity study of compressors and cost vs weight analysis for air tanks • Designed truck schematics and wiring harness routing and sheet metal brackets for ICE and BEV platforms using Creo and Windchill • Generated 3D layouts of wiring harness paths across multiple truck variants using Creo and PDM systems • Supported cross-functional design reviews with documentation for routing feasibility and serviceability • Used Windchill PLM to manage component releases, drawing revisions, and digital product data PROJECTS - Air tank diversity • Studied and compared steel and aluminum air tank variants for commercial vehicle chassis with respect to volume, diameter, port position, and angular orientation • Proposed design improvements and port alignment strategies to enhance assembly accessibility, reduce installation time, and support weight reduction targets • Implemented variant optimization by analyzing material characteristics, packaging feasibility, and structural constraints for different truck platforms (ICE & BEV) • Explored cost and weight analysis of steel and aluminium air tanks, air tank calculations, European standards consolidation, documentation of air tank sketches for Europe and Australia Heavy Tag (Center and wheelbase harness) • Clearance Study between BBIOM connector & GIC connector. Identified a bracket which holds the BBIOM connector to have a good clearance Sustainability Concept Evaluation Matrix (SCEM) • Developed and implemented SCEM to evaluate the environmental impact of designs during concept development, focusing on sustainability criteria like material selection and environmental impact in the cradle-to-gate phase. Bundle Sizes and Medias • Contributed to determining the spool size and routing path of the main harness using Creo View and GVD for ICE and BEV trucks across multiple variant combinations
