Carry out preventive/corrective maintenance on various mechanical equipment such as gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, gas turbine, diesel engine platform crane, winch and pneumatic/hydraulic etc. Includes receiving daily instruction, work order, obtains required materials and equipment and executes work accordingly. Report any breakdowns in equipment to supervisor, as necessary. • Repairs, replaces and/or installs various machinery and equipment as instructed. Includes diagnosing faults, obtaining parts, equipment and tools, and initiating repairs/ replacements or referring more complex repairs to Supervisor. • Carry out crane offshore of repair, maintenance and test of crane&lifting equipment including hook,block,ball&swivels,overload protection units by hydra lift crane and after preventive maintenance and check wire rope inspection and maintenance • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations in carrying out work. Includes following detailed procedures indicated in work permits. • Report to hierarchy on time spent, work carried out, materials used and any further action required for each job undertaken. • Maintains good housekeeping at work site and ensures that maintenance tools and equipment are kept in good, safe operating condition. Replaces and stores tools in orderly and tidy manner. • Performs other similar or related duties such as participating in safety drills and fire fighting, reporting any abnormalities or hazards near work site, providing ''back to back' with information on any problems or outstanding maintenance works, etc • Repair and replace seals and properly align shaft using laser alignment tool in various type of pumps such as centrifugal crude oil pumps, Sea water lift submersible pumps, and water injection pumps. • Repair and installation of positive displacement pumps such as diaphragm pump, vane pump, gear pump and lube oil pump etc. • Check and set mechanical clearance accordance into specified tolerance using dial indicator, feeler gauge, micrometer, caliper, straight gauge.
