Assist the Head of HSE/EHS in the establishment and implementation of Health, Safety, and environmental goals and programs. • Assist the Head of HSE/EHS in the establishment and implementation of Health, Safety, and environmental goals and programs. • Collect/track EHS KPIs all relevant data required for reporting to top management. • Review and develop, the companys HSE/EHS policies and procedures to ensure that they comply with the local legislation where relevant like Punjab EPA, Civil Defence, Factory Act 1934, local regulations and requirements, etc. • Carry out periodic audits/reviews to determine gaps between local practices and policies relating to HSE/EHS; develop an action plan to address the gaps. • Conduct and/or liaise with third-party consultants, regular risk assessments for all business areas as well as job safety analysis. • Implement and maintain ISO14000, ISO 9001, and ISO 45000, and other safety standards and certifications and documentation. Keep documentation updated and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders. • Drive a proactive stance towards EHS in support of Business Continuity Planning and ensuring incidents and accidents are investigated. • Coordinate with contractors to align with EHS requirement. • Provide HSE/EHS improvement proposals stating: the nonconformance, proposed corrective action, required resources for corrective action, and plan of implementation • Ensure EHS actions related to incidents (injuries, illnesses, environmental incidents), and audit findings follow up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure that any certification requirements are complied with. • Managing a team of firemen, safety supervisors, and safety monitors (4 direct reports and 16 indirect reports) to ensure that installed fire safety equipment is in good working condition and inspected in accordance with HAPI plans. • Ensuring inspections of fire safety equipment, Civil warden post per rule 9 of Civil Defence 1951 group a/b. • Conduct visits to suppliers and customers to verify social, environmental, and OHS compliance and adhere to the product stewardship policy. • To carry out permit-to-work auditing and sharing observations with relevant staff. • To carry out hygiene monitoring of workers exposed to noise and dust, conduct data analysis, and report deviations & recommendations as per OSHA & ACGIH. • To carry out Plant Rounds, Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) Rounds and perform Regular Risk Assessments
