Roles and Responsibilities
• Plan, co-ordinate, lead and direct a team of maintenance technicians and vendors, ensuring all planned preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance is executed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the maintenance management system and to comply with all statutory requirements • Lead the maintenance team to undertake routine inspection, servicing & minor adjustment of equipment. • Review planned, and corrective, maintenance work orders and ensure all preparations are fully undertaken before commencement of works. • Co-ordinate with production operations personnel for Start-up and Shut-down of Mechanical equipment. • Implement planned and corrective maintenance on Mechanical equipment, ensuring all works are carried out in compliance and conformance with company procedures. • Ensure safety critical equipment is maintained in compliance with procedures and regulations. • Oversee or undertake installation and commissioning of new equipment as required. • Ensure equipment and systems are reinstated to required condition and performance. • Provide a source of technical expertise to diagnose, analyze and rectify faults to enhance maximum availability. • Review all maintenance work orders for accuracy, consistency and quality of technical history • Plan, prepare, allocate and supervise resources to execute preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with the maintenance schedule and work instructions, with particular emphasis on safety critical activities • Ensure breakdowns are responded to in a timely manner and carry out and apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques • Co-ordinate and execute major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on site equipment • Liaise with Scheduler, Department Supervision and any other all relevant interfaces offshore and onshore to ensure all activities are effectively planned, scheduled and executed in accordance with process • Support and improve own and team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices and actively participating in supervisor workshops • Collect data and information required for condition monitoring and preventative maintenance. • Carry out planned maintenance programmes on a wide range of equipment with emphasis on compressor, pumps, turbines and hydraulics. • Assist other trades and disciplines as required within the limits and capabilities and experience.
