Exercises authority over marine operations, ballast and stability control, station keeping, and SIMOPS. Authorizes and oversees Permit-to-Work, isolations, and risk assessments. Maintains compliance with flag, class, and regulatory requirements, coordinating audits, inspections, and close-out of findings. Leads emergency preparedness and response, ensuring readiness of personnel and safety-critical and marine-critical systems. Barge Engineer / Master - Supervision of Marine department and Deck activities on board (Lifting/rigging operations, deck cargo management, hot/cold and other works coordination on deck, personnel transfer ops via Helicopter and Crew boats). - Person Responsible for Lifting Operations (prepare / approve lifting plans, maintain lifting/rigging gear locker). - Manage Supply boat operations, overall Rig stability control, Internal and external transfer of bulk, - Rig move and Anchor handling operations. - Maintenance of bulk/ballast, anchor/mooring equipment, helideck and all related equipment, rig fire-fighting and life-saving equipment and systems, maintain rig structure and coating condition. - Garbage management on board Duties: Fire Marshal and Damage control leader, Unit/Ship Security Officer, Responsible for maintenance of Safety and Rescue equipment on board. Deputy of OIM in his absence and emergency situations. Ballast Control Operator / Chief officer - Maintain rig stability/heel/trim during different modes of rig operation, ballasting/de-ballasting operations for rig move, communication with supply boats and coordination of marine operations on board. Bulk handling operation (internal and external), Act as Work Permit Administrator.

Master COC and All required STCW certs, DP unlimited. FOET/BOSIET and other offshore certs.
