Maintenance & Technical Management Plan and supervise Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Ensure timely overhauling of machinery Monitor engine performance & fuel consumption Troubleshoot major breakdowns Maintain critical spare parts inventory ⛽ 3. Fuel & Bunkering Control Calculate fuel requirements Supervise bunkering operations Monitor fuel quality and consumption Prevent fuel contamination and wastage 👷 4. Crew Management Lead and manage: 2nd Engineer 3rd Engineer 4th Engineer Motormen & Oilers Assign daily work Conduct engine room meetings Ensure proper watchkeeping 🛡️ 5. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with: SOLAS MARPOL ISM Code Maintain Oil Record Book Conduct engine room safety drills Ensure pollution prevention Maintain firefighting & emergency systems 📊 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain engine logbooks Prepare monthly reports to company Record breakdown reports Maintain class & statutory certificates 🛠️ 7. Dry Dock & Surveys Plan and supervise dry dock repairs Coordinate with shipyard & superintendent Attend class surveys and inspections 🚨 8.
