Responsible for communications between vessels traveling to/from rig Responsible for informing OIM or Barge Engineer if a vessel within the radius of 500MTR so rig is adrift, collision etc.Responsible for managing the interior of the vessel and all financial matters on board.Preparing the rig’s official Personnel Onboard (POB) list with the use of Microsoft Office Excel and sending some via e-mail (Microsoft Office Outlook) to the company management at the company headquarters. Filling the heading and personnel onboard sections of the IADC register daily.Monitor of vessel through the AIS and standby watch on VHF/DSC/ HF/MF control unit radioPreparing and updating room allocation of personnel on the rig.Maintain GMDSS logbook and other statutory communications logs as required for locationMonitor marine frequencies for pertinent transmissions
