Operate drilling equipment including drawworks, rotary table, top drive, mud pumps, and hoisting systems. • Supervise drilling operations such as drilling, tripping, casing running, cementing, and completion activities. • Maintain well control and respond to kicks using IWCF/IADC well control procedures. • Monitor drilling parameters (WOB, ROP, torque, pump pressure, mud properties) to optimize drilling performance. • Ensure all drilling activities comply with company policies, HSE standards, and international regulations. • Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills. • Coordinate with Toolpusher, Rig Manager, Mud Engineer, Directional Driller, and third-party service providers. • Prepare daily drilling reports and communicate operational progress and issues. • Inspect drilling equipment and ensure preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. • Train and supervise Assistant Driller, Derrickman, and drilling crew. • Ensure proper handling and storage of drilling tools, tubulars, and chemicals. • Participate in risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work systems. • Ensure environmental protection and waste management procedures are followed. • Maintain discipline and productivity among drilling crew.
