1. Make sure all work is carried out safely and follows company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) rules. 2. Regularly inspect the site to spot hazards or unsafe conditions. 3. Prepare and review risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA). 4. Ensure workers are wearing the right PPE (helmets, gloves, safety shoes etc). 5. Conduct safety inductions for new employees and give toolbox talks to guide workers. 6. Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses and prepare reports to prevent them in the future. 7. Monitor compliance with safety standards including NEBOSH guidelines. 8. Check that fire safety systems, emergency exits and first aid equipment are ready and working. 9. Keep HSE records, reports and documentation up to date. 10. Stop unsafe work immediately and report serious safety issues to management. 11. Organize emergency drills such as fire drills and evacuations. 12. Encourage a positive safety culture where everyone understands safety comes first.
