S &RESPONSIBILITIES:  Monitoring the helicopter operations to ensure safe operational procedures are implemented strictly.  Monitor and follow up on the HSE statistics.  Conduct daily safety meeting and discuss the concern issues with the shift crew.  Ensuring the compliance/implementation of the company & client safety rules and regulations.  Assisting the Drilling Management in the development and delivery of best in class Drilling HSE Management Processes.  Tracking STOP card and preparing analysis to identify the gaps and their elimination.  Developing and overseeing safety training programs.  Assist Drilling and Completions department and contractor teams to deliver an exemplary HSE performance.  Prepare reports on incidents with recommendations for solutions.  Provide technical HSE advice and input to ensure a safety environment coordinating day by day HSE activities on-board of the drilling rig.  Demonstrate excellent safety leadership and behavior, ensuring that the company safety expectations are communicated and maintained.  Carry out daily walk around the rig, ensuring crew compliance for the safety and identifying the  Liaising with Rig Contractor,Client Safety Advisor, OIM, Drilling Supervisor to increase HSE awareness.  Delivering, in a timely manner, support processes and documentation that are required for HSE aspects.  Ensure that activities (i.e. drilling,) are conducted in accordance with the Company HSE Management System, Company procedures, Local law, International codes and standards.  Coaching Rig teams on HSE and conduct HSE engagement sessions with them. Ensure emergency preparedness in compliance with Emergency Response documents/plans.  Carry out HSE inspections and arrange safety meetings daily, weekly and monthly if required.  Take part in drills and exercises as and whenever required.  Be aware of Company’s accident and incident investigation procedures and policies and assist on incident and accident investigations as directed by the shore-base team. Management & Static Maintenance activities in line with IMS and related policies.  Assist in the formal training and refresher training on hazard awareness and local HSE procedures.  Implement processes and systems that identify HSE risks, and verify mitigation to ALARP.  Checking PPE Lockers.  Filing and archiving of Permit to Work documentation.  Ensuring all construction / operational activities on the rig is carried out in a safe manner and in adherence to the company's safety policies, statutory regulations and guidelines.  Permit to Work coordination.  Ensuring that the lifting equipment color code system is used and kept up to date.  Updating the permit Log/register on daily basis.  Conducting weekly & monthly mock drills like fire & abandon rig drill, H2S drill, Heli-crash drill, Man Over board drill etc.  Ensuring the preventive maintenance of fire alarms & firefighting systems are correctly carried out.
