Roles and Responsibilities
To lead the firefighting team, so that everyone is qualified to control the fire in case of an event; ▪ To attend area operations, such as lifting, maneuvers on the platform, work at height, hot work, aiming at the best placement of those involved in the area; ▪ To clear, coordinate and audit permits to work raised on board; ▪ To inspect all safety equipment (extinguishers, hoses, hose connections, BA's and others) so they are always in good condition for utilization and within their validity period when required for use in view of any emergency. ▪ To supervise, lead and rescue personnel working in confined spaces, aiming at the compliance with internal company procedures, giving full confidence to those performing a given task. ▪ To investigate and report all accidents and incidents that occurred on board, so that we may have control, statistic and take proper actions to prevent recurrence. ▪ To lead the aircraft receiving team, when requested, promoting higher safety to those departing and arriving at the unit. ▪ To conduct weekly safety meetings and safety briefing in all embarkations, raising the awareness of all workers of specific risks found on the unit in line with some matters already established by the company. ▪ To attend various audits so that no non-conformities exist on the unit. ▪ To requisition purchases and control the safety material stock so that workers are not uncovered regarding their Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protection Equipment (CPE). ▪ To make sure the training is in compliance with the training matrix and his certificates are within the validity period. ▪ To inspect the area (Hazard Hunt); ▪ To reinforce the achievement of the Vessels' Objectives and Goals. ▪ To ensure that, before tasks/duties are discharged, a permit to work (PTW / PET / IP) is completed correctly, signed and that all of its controls and precautions have been achieved according to the authorization for work verification; ▪ To tracking the performance and compliance with the requirements established in the Permit to Work procedure on a weekly basis, and the shortfalls must be indicated on the proper form; Page 3 ▪ Tracking JSA compliance; ▪ Participate in Risk Analysis and attend the beginning of the services regarding: Work at height and man riding operations; Surface installation lifts, assemblies and disassembles involving heavy loads, including WCT and BAP and work (assembly and testing) in pressurized systems; Casing run, casing hanger and tubing hanger assembly on the rotary table; Tripping the string with manual equipment when changing tripping equipment and when problems with automatic handling equipment occur (management of change); BOP run, especially the first riser joint connection, slip joint run, riser tensioner and connection installation on
