Rig Move & Related activities. Stability: • Assures daily accurate rig loading, leg reactions, supplies of fuel/water and centers of gravity are kept within the design limits for the safe operation of the unit. • Calculate the daily load criteria to ensure the installation satisfies the operation and stability requirements. • During loading ensures that deck loading is within the loading criteria in accordance with rig design and operation manual. Lifting Operations: • Supervises and directs loading/unloading and movement of all cargo including supervising & planning for crane critical, complex lifting operations and personnel transfer, onboard and outboard the unit. • Direct deck crew to move/load/unload critical items considering the unit load distribution calculations to ensure security of the lifted items & personnel.
