Serve as the sole onboard physician providing 24/7 autonomous medical coverage for jack-up drilling operations supporting 120–160 personnel in high-risk offshore environments. Lead immediate assessment, stabilization and management of drilling-related trauma including crush injuries, dropped-object incidents, confined space exposure, burns and heat stress cases, ensuring rapid clinical control and prevention of operational disruption. Deliver Advanced Life Support interventions including airway management, cardiac defibrillation, procedural sedation and critical care stabilization in remote settings without immediate tertiary backup. Evaluate medical evacuation requirements and coordinate air or sea medevac operations under client protocols, ensuring comprehensive documentation, regulatory compliance and structured handover to shore-based facilities. Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments, chronic disease monitoring and occupational health surveillance to minimize medical-related lost-time incidents and maintain workforce productivity. Participate in emergency preparedness programs including fire, blowout, abandon-rig and mass casualty drills, providing medical input into risk mitigation planning. Maintain full operational readiness of medical facilities, ALS equipment, pharmaceuticals and emergency oxygen systems in compliance with client and maritime standards. Act as clinical advisor to OIM, Toolpusher and HSE leadership on workforce health protection and medical risk management strategies.
