Perform daily deck operations including mooring, anchoring, and vessel maintenance activities. Execute rigging and heavy lifting operations safely using certified lifting gear and equipment. Act as Banksman/Slinger to guide crane operators during lifting, loading, and unloading operations. Operate deck cranes (2–35 tons) for cargo handling, equipment movement, and offshore operations. Assist in Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfers, ensuring safe positioning, communication, and cargo transfer procedures. Support offshore cable laying and subsea installation activities as per project requirements. Carry out inspection, maintenance, and proper storage of rigging equipment and lifting tools. Supervise deck crew activities as a Bosun / Deck Foreman, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Participate in vessel drydock and shipyard activities including repairs, inspections, and upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and toolbox talks before operations. Assist in towing operations, ensuring proper connection, monitoring, and safety measures. Support offshore personnel transfers, including basket transfers and gangway operations.
