Involved in major and minor overhauling changing of valves, Piston, piston rings, Labyrinth seal, stuffing box, big and small end bearings, crank shaft bearings. Cross head, Crank Shaft, pulley and its oil circuit equipment, and cooler maintenance. Worked in Major overhaul. Activity in Removing and placing of compressor bundle, Diaphragms, Hub (hydraulic method). Involved in dismantling and installing of Mechanical seal (dry gas and Oil seal type) and Labyrinths. Refurbishing Mechanical seal. Changing primary and mating Rings (carbon seals) retainer, springs, thrust plate, O rings. Overhauling centrifugal single/multi stage pumps. Doing regular servicing overhauling and troubleshooting, Replacement of bearings (friction and non-friction) wear rings mechanical seal and impeller.
