The role involves monitoring, operating, and maintaining electrically driven pumps that transfer chemicals, fluids, or process materials within the facility. Key responsibilities include inspecting electrical components, motors, control panels, and instrumentation to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. The engineer performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical faults in pump systems, motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control circuits.
