My core responsibility is to assist in safe and efficient rigging and lifting operations in offshore oil and gas environments while strictly following all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures. As a trained entry-level rigger, I support the preparation and handling of rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting accessories used during crane and lifting operations. I assist in attaching and securing loads properly before lifting and help ensure that all equipment is inspected and used according to safety standards. I am responsible for maintaining clear communication with crane operators, supervisors, and other crew members during lifting operations to ensure that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently. I follow proper signaling procedures and remain alert to potential hazards in the working area. Safety is always my top priority, and I ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations and company procedures Through my completed offshore safety and rigging training, including BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), Basic H2S Training, Rigger Initial Training (Stage 1), and CA‑EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System), I have developed the knowledge required to work safely in offshore environments. I am committed to learning from experienced crew members, following instructions carefully, and continuously improving my skills to contribute to safe lifting operations and efficient offshore project execution.
