Plant Operation • Operate and monitor the PSA Nitrogen Generator system to produce nitrogen gas with required purity. • Start-up and shut-down the nitrogen plant safely according to standard operating procedures (SOP). • Control pressure, temperature, flow rate, and purity of nitrogen gas. 2. Equipment Monitoring • Monitor compressors, air dryers, filters, PSA towers, and storage tanks. • Check gauges, control panels, and alarms regularly. • Ensure proper functioning of valves, pipelines, and instrumentation. 3. Quality Control • Monitor nitrogen purity using gas analyzers. • Ensure nitrogen meets required purity levels (e.g., 95%–99.999% depending on plant). • Record purity readings and report deviations. 4. Maintenance Support • Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance. • Replace filters, check adsorbent beds, and inspect air dryers. • Report equipment faults to maintenance team. 5. Safety Compliance • Follow plant safety procedures and PPE requirements. • Identify and report gas leaks or abnormal conditions. • Ensure safe handling of high-pressure gas systems. 6. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain daily log sheets of plant parameters. • Record production data, purity levels, and operating hours. • Report plant performance and issues to supervisors. 7. Troubleshooting • Identify operational problems such as pressure drops or purity loss. • Take corrective actions to maintain continuous nitrogen production. 8. Utility Management • Monitor compressed air supply, cooling systems, and electrical systems. • Ensure utilities are running efficiently for plant operation.
