Duties: As a Field Operator i am responsible for monitoring, operating, maintaining field equipment, sampling feed and product, Dosing of chemicals, act as a first responder to emergency in the refinery units to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation. The role requires close coordination with the control room (DCS) , maintenance and services teams to optimize plant performance and adhere to safety and environmental standards. Product vessel commissioning and line up during Rundown receipts. Internal transfer lineups and pump operations. SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS Monitor and control operations of pumps, compressors, filters, Strainers and other Field equipment Conduct regular field inspections to detect and resolve operational issues or abnormalities. Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot equipment and process units according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Take manual readings of temperatures, pressures, flows, and levels, and report deviations. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies, including the use of PPE and adherence to permit-to-work systems. Communicate effectively with the control room and maintenance teams regarding process performance and equipment status. Participate in routine safety drills, toolbox talks, and shift handovers. Log operational data and complete daily shift reports accurately. Support routine and non-routine maintenance activities and assist in isolating equipment for maintenance. Collect routine and non-routine process samples from various sample points, and ensure proper labeling and delivery to the laboratory for analysis
