I am currently working as a Process Operator at GPS Renewables Pvt. Ltd. in the Reliance Biogas Energy Project, Kakinada. My responsibilities include operating and monitoring the complete Biogas Upgradation Unit including moisture removal, H₂S removal, and membrane-based CO₂ separation systems. I handle multi-stage gas compression systems delivering compressed biogas (CBG) up to 240 bar for cascade filling and dispatch operations. I monitor plant parameters such as pressure, temperature, and flow rate through the SCADA system (Optimaxx GRS) and ensure safe and stable plant operation. I regularly check alarms and interlocks and take immediate corrective action when abnormal conditions occur. I perform plant startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting activities during normal and emergency conditions. I also coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance of compressors, pumps, valves, chillers, and other process equipment. I maintain shift logs, operational records, and handover reports to ensure proper communication between shifts. I strictly follow HSE standards including PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO (Lockout Tagout), and PPE requirements while performing plant operations. I also assist in process optimization and ensure product gas quality meets required methane purity standards. My role focuses on maintaining safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the gas processing plant.
