Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor and operate LNG storage tanks, cryogenic pumps, and transfer systems to ensure safe and efficient storage and product movement. Perform field inspections and routine equipment checks on valves, pipelines, pumps, compressors, and instrumentation. Support LNG ship loading operations, including preparation of marine loading arms, line-up verification, and coordination with the control room and jetty team. Monitor BOG (Boil-Off Gas) compression systems and tank pressure/temperature to maintain safe operating conditions. Execute tank filling, recirculation, and cooldown operations according to operating procedures. Conduct start-up, shutdown, and operational adjustments as directed by the Control Room Operator (DCS). Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, perform gas testing, and participate in emergency response and safety drills. Prepare equipment for maintenance activities by applying isolation, LOTO, and permit-to-work procedures. Record operational data, field observations, and abnormal conditions in log sheets and reports. Coordinate with marine crew, maintenance teams, and control room operators during LNG transfer and storage operations.
