Making spot corrections of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Preparing daily safety inspection reports. Accident / Incident investigations. Briefing the STOP cards on every pre-tour meeting. Maintaining records of near miss cases/STOP cards and communicate the findings to the workforce. Keeping up to date with company HSE policies and Management systems. Maintaining company HSE standards in plans and procedures. Review Emergency Response Systems and Procedures. Liaise with rig management regarding suitable local hazard controls. Develop and analyze HSE statistics. Arrange and conducting weekly safety meeting. Record and follow up on Hazard Identification (HAZID), HAZOP and audit action closeouts. Ensure Risk assessment / JSA for all routine and non routine activities. Monitor and maintain the HSE plan to ensure risks are mitigated and emergency response facilities are in place. Facilitate information sharing and continuous learning in order to raise awareness and develop the right behavior to improve HSE performance. Prepare and facilitate external audit carry out on the rig and close out recommendations in cooperation with Rig Manager. Training the crew on Work permits, JSA and writing STOP cards. Review MSDS sheets in conjunction with the current usage and storage of chemicals onboard. Observation and reporting procedures for Environmental pollution. Maintaining waste log and environmental compliance. Monitoring crane operation and daily/weekly checklists. Conducting various drills like confined space rescue drill, oil spillage response drill, helicopter crash drill, fire and abandon drill etc. Inspection of first aid facilities, fire fighting equipments, life saving appliances and record keeping. Conduct and facilitate DOMS survey. Executing the Safety Signboard installation system and Safety Tag system on equipment., Coordinate all SIMOPS activities in project area to ensure safe execution of all tasks within SIMOPS area
