I am currently working as a DCS Operator with hands-on experience in control room and field operations within the oil and gas industry. My primary responsibility is to monitor and control plant operations through the Distributed Control System (DCS) to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production. On a daily basis, I maintain well records, production reports, and control room logs. I continuously monitor important equipment and process parameters such as pumps, control valves, shutdown valves (SDVs), and well chemical dosing systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operation. I also coordinate closely with field operators and other team members to maintain safe and healthy operating conditions in the plant. Safety is a top priority in my work. I strictly follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during field activities. I perform operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system to ensure all maintenance and operational activities are carried out safely. I have practical knowledge and hands-on experience in pump operations, pump changeover procedures, valve operations, and chemical dosing systems. I am also experienced in handling various plant units including Cooling Towers, Crude Oil Stabilization Unit, Natural Gas Processing Unit, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and Utility Operations. With strong operational knowledge and teamwork skills, I contribute to maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance.
