Perform basic physical tasks around the drilling site. Help move equipment, tools, and supplies. Assist other crew members with various operational tasks. Maintain the overall cleanliness of the rig site. 2. Equipment Handling Load and unload pipes, drilling materials, and supplies. Help organize equipment on the pipe rack and storage areas. Assist in setting up and dismantling rig equipment. Move heavy materials using manual tools or lifting equipment. 3. Rig Maintenance Clean machinery, tools, and work areas. Assist with painting, greasing, and minor repairs. Check equipment for visible damage or leaks. Support maintenance teams when needed. 4. Supporting the Drilling Crew Assist floorhands, derrickmen, and drillers when required. Deliver tools and materials to the rig floor. Help prepare equipment for drilling operations. 5. Safety Responsibilities Follow all safety rules and procedures on the rig. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Keep work areas clean and free from hazards. Participate in safety meetings and emergency drills. 6. Work Environment Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions. Perform physically demanding tasks. Often work long shifts (12 hours or more) on rotational schedules.
