Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on drilling rigs. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generators, motors, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems. Troubleshoot electrical faults using testing instruments such as multimeters, meggers, and clamp meters. Maintain and repair rig lighting systems, control panels, and electrical wiring. Monitor and maintain MCC panels, VFD drives, and PLC-based control systems used in drilling operations. Ensure continuous power supply to drilling equipment and rig operations. Inspect and maintain hazardous area electrical equipment according to oil and gas safety standards. Assist with installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment on the rig. Follow HSE policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and electrical safety regulations.
