❖ Ensures that all policies and standards are understood and implemented on the rig. ❖ Ensures HSE critical equipment at the installation is properly maintained as directed by the drilling contractor HSE department. ❖ Ensures all incidents are reported and investigated correctly in a timely manner and proposes practical and effective remedial actions. ❖ Leads Safety Meetings in a way that engages the attention of and draws active contributions from all participants. ❖ Leads and conducts all required rig-based HSE training programs and emergency drills, aligned with personal qualifications and competency. ❖ Acts as a Role Model in the Safety Observation System. ❖ Follows-up on all high potential unsafe acts and conditions. ❖ Promptly makes accurate reports for all HSE activities and events in the approved format. ❖ Maintain records (paper, electronic) in an orderly state and in accordance with File Retention Policy.
