1. Handling Drill Pipes Assist in connecting and disconnecting drill pipes. Help move pipes from the pipe rack to the drilling floor. Support the driller during tripping operations (pulling pipe in or out of the well). 2. Equipment Maintenance Clean and maintain rig floor equipment. Lubricate machinery and tools. Check equipment for damage and report problems. 3. Rig Floor Operations Operate tools like tongs, slips, and spinning chains. Help position drilling tools correctly. Assist the driller and derrickman during drilling activities. 4. Safety Responsibilities Follow all rig safety procedures. Wear PPE (helmet, gloves, boots, goggles). Keep the rig floor clean and free of hazards. 5. Loading and Moving Materials Help move drilling materials, mud, and tools around the rig. Assist with crane lifting operations when needed. 6. Cleaning and Housekeeping Wash the rig floor. Remove oil, mud, and debris. Maintain a safe working environment.
