Assist the Driller in operating drilling equipment. Monitor drilling parameters such as: Weight on bit (WOB) Pump pressure Rotary speed (RPM) Mud flow rate Help run drilling programs as planned by the Drilling Supervisor / Toolpusher. Direct and supervise the roughnecks, floorhands, and derrickman during operations. Ensure tasks like: Making/breaking drill pipe connections Handling tubulars Running casing or tubing are performed safely. Ensure all crew follow HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) procedures. Conduct or assist with: Safety meetings / toolbox talks Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Stop work if unsafe conditions occur. Check and maintain drilling equipment such as: Top drive / rotary table Mud pumps Drawworks Blowout Preventer (BOP) systems Report equipment issues to the Driller or Maintenance Team.
