Diagnosed mechanical faults and carried out repairs to ensure continuous drilling operations. Conducted routine inspection, lubrication, and servicing of rig machinery and mechanical components. Assisted in installation, dismantling, and alignment of mechanical equipment during rig-up and rig-down operations. Replaced worn or damaged parts including bearings, seals, valves, belts, and hydraulic components. Monitored equipment performance and reported abnormalities to the Chief Mechanic or Supervisor. Ensured all maintenance activities were carried out according to OEM standards and company procedures. Maintained accurate maintenance records, service logs, and equipment checklists. Followed HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines and participated in safety drills and toolbox talks. Coordinated with drilling crew and other technicians to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
